Get Out There

Many golfers love to play rounds of golf, but they do not strive to become better off the course. The false assumption that the more rounds you play, the better you will get, often leads golfers to presume that they will become much better by simply playing many rounds with the same flawed swing. Of course, it is important to get out and play rounds of golf, but it is equally important to spend some time with golf training aids like a golf driving range mat, a golf chipping mat, and a putting green.

“If you can’t outplay them, outwork them.” -Ben Hogan

If you can’t outplay your competition, it is important to realize that they probably have put in work off the course that you haven’t. By trying to practice more off the course, your game will certainly improve. This will allow for a much more successful approach to golfing, and it will likely let you have the ability to eventually outplay your competition due to time spent practicing off the course.
